This site is dedicated to the preservation and gathering of balkan folk music and other folk music of nearby regions. We hope to gather sheet music for as many folk tunes as we can, as well as providing a portal to recordings, folk music groups, and other resources. This effort is funded by its founders and is not intended to make any profits. The founders are former members of the Yale Slavic Chorus, Kitka, and Born to Drone, but we are not affiliated with those organizations. Please help us by contributing songs and helping us with leads to information.
